Brain Child Never Sleep!
Did Mother? In the evenings, there is an important limb of children who had not slept. He is a BRAIN. Although the body is at rest, the brain continues to work to process the information received during the day, to then use the next day.
Recently researchers engaged in finding a child's brain development research, named 10/40. What is it? 10/40 is the result of a study that found that: although the average brain weight of children aged 1-6 years less than 10% by weight of the body, the brain's energy needs over 40% of total energy needs into the body.
Mean, 40% of food consumed by children is absorbed to brain activity. This fact is obtained from an article entitled Effects of Brain Evolution on Human Nutrition and Metabolism, WR Leonard's work, published in 2007.
So how to keep children healthy and get enough energy intake to his brain when he sleeps? Be careful, fast food that contains lots of sugar so as to make children hyperactive and restless sleep.
Energy derived from sugar (sucrose) did not last long so that the brain's energy needs to work when the child is not met a perfect sleep. Remember, the proper intake to keep the energy channeled though the child is asleep and the brain can work well all day to process the information obtained.
Want to know more about the energy it takes the child's brain? Let's enrich knowledge by Mother Brain Quiz. In addition to acquiring new knowledge, the mother can also get attractive prizes every week!
